KingFisher Biminis were dreamt up, designed, and engineered for the testing Australian conditions. The creators, Grant & Phil, have over 70 years of canvas experience between them and, as avid anglers, were frustrated with the traditional design of Bimini tops. Many of their customers also wanted a Bimini that would provide unrestricted access around the boat, but not have to install a custom made, and very expensive, permanent structure on their boat.
Installation can be done by a home handyman with access to a few basic tools and a little bit of know how.
Setting the Kingfisher Bimini up is really very easy and can be done on the water by one person in less than a minute. Everything is designed to make it easy for you. When the KingFisher is folded up fully in the vertical position, the locking pins can be quickly and easily removed
The KingFisher is designed and tested to be able to be comfortably driven, with both wings in the open position, at 60kms /hr (32 knots), however this is limited to calm conditions. Like with all things on the water it is imperative that you drive to the conditions!
