Insalt's mission was ambitious: to develop an ultralight PE4 rod that feels as effortless as using a PE2. The design team faced the challenge head-on, ensuring the Battle-Axe would be both affordable and equipped with premium Fuji K Alconite guides.

After rigorous testing, the Battle-Axe proved to be an absolute thrill to use. It feels like a PE1.5-2 but boasts the robust capabilities of a PE4. This rod excelled in jigging up impressive dhufish, metre-long snapper, and big dolphin fish, and even passed our dry testing with flying colors, effortlessly deadlifting 5kg.
